A leader in East Sussex and beyond
East Sussex is a beautiful place, isn’t it? Stretching from Brighton right up the coast to the village of Camber, it’s home to an array of stunning scenery. The county also reaches north in the direction of Tunbridge Wells, meaning there’s plenty of gorgeous countryside to roam.
It’s not just outside that East Sussex looks great, however. You’ll also find the interiors of business and residential properties across the county have been kept to the highest aesthetic standards, and County Stone is proud to play a part in that. We’ve provided a range of fantastic worktops and kitchen surfaces to homeowners in East Sussex – below are just a few examples.
Ubatuba Granite – Portslade, Brighton
Who doesn’t love a trip to the seaside? That’s exactly what our installation team got when they went to Portslade on the outskirts of Brighton recently. The visit didn’t involve sandcastles and chips on the beach, though – the purpose was to install a beautiful ‘Ubatuba’ granite worktop in a customer’s kitchen.
As well as being fun to say, Ubatuba granite is one of the most popular types of granite out there when it comes to kitchen and bathroom worktops, due largely to its price. It’s named after the area of Brazil in which it originates, and tends to come in very dark colourings – usually green but often looking close to black.
Kunlun Ink Samsung Quartz – Ringmer
Our products and handy work can also be seen in Ringmer, which is one of the largest villages in the south of England! We visited back in the summer of 2015 to install a stunning Kunlun Ink Samsung quartz worktop in a customer’s kitchen.
Kunlun Ink is a striking take on the classic quartz idea; it comes in the darkest of blacks with complimentary mirror flecks, to give it that extra shine under the spotlights, It’s fair to say it looked pretty special in this customer’s lovely kitchen, as you can see from the image below.
Caesarstone Snow Quartz – Shoreham
We stopped a little short of the East Sussex border on this trip, which we took to install something a bit lighter in a customer’s kitchen. Caesarstone Snow quartz, as the name suggests, comes in brilliant white to create a clean, light and open feel – perfect for slightly smaller spaces.
Caesarstone quartz surfaces use up to 93 per cent quartz, which is an extremely tough material. This is one reason why these worktops are so popular – they’re built to last! Our customer here was also made up when we told them how little maintenance it requires. It’ll stay looking great for many years to come.
