Colonial White Granite & Silestone Anubis – Windsor
County Stone went to install ‘Colonial White‘ granite and ‘Silestone Anubis’ quartz worktops to a customers house in Windsor.
Originating from India, Colonial White granite is a very light stone. While it’s rare, there can be some veining in it, with flecks of black running through the granite. There are subtle hints of grey in it, but it doesn’t have the peachy tones of the Delicatus, making it a plainer stone.
Silestone Anubis – Silestone is a compound made up of 94% natural quartz, which make it extraordinarily hard and resilient. This is the one and only worktop made of quartz with anti-bacterial protection, giving it hygienic properties that are not to be found anywhere else on the market. It is an excellent surface for kitchen worktops, bathrooms, floors and wall cladding using the minimum number of joints.
