Ordering a Headstone from County Stone
We warmly welcome you to pay us a visit in person to discuss your requirements. Alternatively, contact us by phone to discuss your needs and place your order. We will always be happy to assist you with any questions, queries or requests you may have.
Once you have decided on your perfect headstone, we will apply to the cemetery or churchyard on your behalf. You will only need to sign and date the application and pay the required fee – we will handle the rest.
Once approval has been granted, we will process the order and start work on the creation of your chosen memorial or headstone. In order to create the headstone to the high standards to which we work, it can take between 10 and 20 weeks to complete. For burials, a grave is required to rest for 6 months before a headstone can be laid, giving ample time for the headstone to be prepared.
We will contact you once the stone has been completed, before working on the engraving and finishing. An installation date will then be set, and we will transport and carefully fix the headstone at the resting place, where applicable.
