We go above and beyond to offer guidance, advice and support to all our clients. Our hands-on service makes ordering a headstone in Worthing as simple and straightforward as possible. From helping you decide on the right headstone to processing administrative work and any necessary applications, we take pride in streamlining and simplifying the process every step of the way.

Ordering a Headstone from County Stone

We warmly welcome you to visit us in person to discuss your needs, or alternatively give us a call to chat about your requirements on the phone. Once you have made your choice, we will organise the application for the cemetery or churchyard plot. You will only need to sign and date the application and pay the required fee – we will handle the rest.

On approval, we will then process the order and begin work on creating your chosen headstone or memorial. It can take between 10 and 20 weeks to create a headstone to the high standard to which we work. For burials, a grave must rest for six months to allow the ground to settle before laying the headstone. This gives ample time for creating the headstone in these cases.

Before completing the lettering and finishing, we will let you know and give you a chance to review the finished stone. Once the lettering is done, an installation date will be set. Finally, we will transport and carefully fix the headstone in place at the cemetery, where applicable.
